I was wondering what to gift parents for their 25th wedding anniversary. I thought about a lot of stuff but just could not come up with a cool idea. I was unable to attend the celebration as I am living in the US. The least I could do is gift parents something which they will remember for the rest of their lives. My friend came up with the idea of gifting a travel package. The idea is great but the execution does sound a bit like a headache. But its actually a very simple process at Sahara Care House.
I gifted them a South India Tour. Its a beautiful and a romantic location. I am sure they will cherish the scenic undisturbed holiday forever.

January 10, 2008Paying Bills Smartly
January 8, 2008
Payment of utility bills involves lot of hassles in India. And, there are so many bills to be paid every month – electricity, telephone, water, mobile just to name a few. One needs to go to respective offices, stand in a queue and wait for their turn which quite often comes after hours… I was managing these necessary chores while I was in India, but now that I am away, it is my parents who need to handle it on their own. Most NRIs get worried by this idea, especially when they have elderly parents living alone. But sadly, they can do little to improve the situation.
Sahara Care House has a convenient and reliable Household Utility Bill Payment Service. The service includes miscellaneous utility bill payments like Electricity, Water, Telephone, Mobile, House Tax, School Fee Etc.
I have personally used their service and can vouch for them…
Gift Flowers & Chocolates , save the day
January 7, 2008
Flowers & Chocolates save the day. It was my girlfriend’s Birthday last week, I forgot to buy a gift for her but wished her at the last minute. I could make an excuse of the difference in timezones. Yes. She is in India & I am in US. Sahara Care House saved the day. I ordered Cakes & Chocolates online and they delivered it at her doorstep. The excuse of time zone and difference of miles made up for the delay by a few days. If i would have decided to go the traditional way and mail it, I would have had it for sure.
